MediEase recommends outstanding medical facilities when compared to any western countries. It has a coalition with different reputed hospitals all over India which offers an affordable and reasonable treatment/ surgery rates including kidney transplantation.
A kidney transplant is a process executed to substitute the non – functioning kidney with the healthy kidney from a new person. For instance, when an individual’s kidney fails, there are three main treatment alternatives like haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplantation. Many patients feel that a successful kidney transplant provides a good worthy life that allocates superior freedom and connected with increased energy levels and less limited diet.
Thus before you go for kidney transplant, make sure that you interacted with the person who has already done kidney transplantation and of course consult your family doctors and members.
Negative Response
After kidney transplant, negative response of kidney is the most complicated thing that may happen. In fact the body immune system protects against attack by all unknown substances like bacteria. Thus the defence system may have chance to distinguish the transplanted tissue as an unknown and try to assault the new attacker.
To get cure from such response, you need to take regular medication for your new kidney. When such negative response occurs, an additional treatment may be required in the future. Apart from this, you need to go for regular check up in your transplant centre to ensure the early detection of kidney rejection.
Diet
In fact there is a special diet instruction for kidney transplanted person for certain period of time according to the prescription given by your doctors and dietician. For instances, if you were on dialysis before then you may find new diet list which is less restricted. According to the requirement, both your doctor and dietician will change your diet parameter.
Complication
Few people who have undergone kidney transplantation for some kidney diseases may feel the comeback of the original disease even after the transplant such as high blood cholesterol level, liver disease, declining of the bones, rejection, infection, hypertension (a threatening sign when the kidney is not functioning accurately), swelling or puffiness (a symbol of fluid retention normally on legs, arms and face) and reduces urine output.
Blood Type
Generally there are four different types of blood groups like A, B, AB and O.Everybody will have their own blood group from any of this group but the donor and the recipient may have the same blood group or companionable group.
The following list shows the well-matched blood group types:
- If your blood group is A then donor blood group should be A or O.
- If your blood group is B then donor blood group should be B or O.
- If your blood group is AB then donor blood group should be A, B, AB or O.
- If your blood group is O then donor blood group should be O only.
Broadly speaking, AB group is known as universal recipient, the simplest blood group to match due to its acceptance of all groups of blood and the O group is known as universal donor, which is the most complicated blood group to get. Although people who has O blood group can donate their blood to any of the person and on the other hand they can receive kidneys from blood group O donors. For instances, if a patient blood group is O and the patient transplanted kidney from an A donor then they may chance to destroy the new transplanted kidney by defence system of body. And the Rh type(+,-) is not a issue in donor matching.
