1. What is Medical Tourism or Health Tourism in simple words and is there any difference between the two?

Normally we do not include air tickets in our Medical tourism packages. This is done for your benefit. Air tickets, if bought from the place of journey commencement are generally cheaper than those purchased from outside the country. Nevertheless, if you still prefer MediEase to make your air travel arrangements, please let us know and we will be ever ready and happy to do the needful.

However, the package includes every other cost such as airport transfers, hotel stay, meals, sightseeing, entry fees at monuments, museums, and the like. However, other personal expenses such as telephone calls, laundry shall not be part of the package.

5. Can you be more specific on my overall savings?

On an average, your gain may hover around 40-60% on medical bills if you decide to undergo treatments and surgeries in India. 11. How long do I have to stay in India after discharged from the hospital?

Since recuperation takes time, and you are not supposed to be up and about after major medical procedure, doctors would prefer that you stay back for a short while for follow-up visits and post treatment examinations to lead you back to optimum health. So we recommend that you may take things a little easily, enjoy the beauty of India as you explore her and benefit from the health follow-up advice of experts.

However, exactly how long one may have to extend the stay is based on the nature of your status, the treatment, the days that you can spare etc.
